The Animals
Pigs
In the spring of 2022 we will be bringing our first pigs onto the farm. They will be raised on pasture with unlimited access to the outdoors. Using a rotational grazing system they will be moved regularly to fresh pasture to ensure the preservation of the land as well as provide the pigs with new areas to forage.
Chickens
On the farm we house a moderately sized flock of egg laying hens, plus one rooster. The birds are provided unrestricted access to the outdoors. With access to forage in the grass our chickens produce eggs with vibrant orange yolks.
